Abstract
To effectively meet customer demands and increase container transportation efficiency, the current international sea-rail resource allocation and trade container train design need to be improved. This study proposes an optimization strategy based on an improved cuckoo search algorithm to address this issue. First, a model of container train operation plan is constructed based on the examination of the reliability of international sea-rail connection. Second, the paper introduces the concept of chaos, improves the global optimization strategy, and localizes the optimization strategy to optimize and improve the cuckoo search algorithm, which has poor convergence and tends to fall into local optimization. Finally, the model is solved using the improved cuckoo search technique. The experimental results revealed that the improved cuckoo search algorithm had a mean square error of 0.17, a generation distance on the f1 function of 0.021, a generation distance on the f2 function of 0.012, an inverted generation distance on the f1 function of 0.010, and an area under the curve value for the improved cuckoo search algorithm solution solution of 0. The above results show that the plan presented in the study can successfully optimize resource allocation for international sea-rail transportation and trade container liner design. The study presents new approaches and concepts for allocating resources for international sea-rail transportation and container ship design.
