Abstract
Sites for storing emergency supplies are necessary for disaster response and preparedness because they act as important distribution centers for vital supplies. To enable prompt and effective emergency response, it is crucial that these locations be carefully chosen and durable. However, choosing a site is frequently difficult and entails balancing a number of opposing goals, including cutting costs, improving accessibility, and strengthening the resilience of the storage structure. To increase effectiveness and resilience, this research provides a Mult objective swarm-intelligent optimization (MSIO) algorithm for choosing the location of emergency material storage sites. The researchers attempt to simultaneously optimize numerous objectives in order to arrive at a well-balanced and reliable solution by framing the issue as a Mult objective optimization. A case study featuring a fictitious area vulnerable to earthquakes and floods serves to validate the proposed MSIO algorithm. The outcomes show how the MSIO strategy is effective at producing a range of effective solutions that strike a compromise between resilience and efficiency. The suggested MSIO algorithm provides useful insights into boosting emergency response systems' efficiency and resilience, empowering authorities to decide wisely and distribute resources sensibly in pressing
circumstances.
